Challenge #666 - Here Comes the Sun

Welcome to Challenge #666 here at Little Red Wagon. Still using the Beatles as my inspiration for this year's challenges, this week's theme is "Here Comes the Sun". I have to admit that I am a little bit superstitious about the number of this week's challenge but, given the extreme heat across the globe right now - and the fact that we are featuring suns, perhaps it's fitting after all!

I created a cloudy grey background brightened by a rainbow and a sun. How will you use a sun on your project? For ideas and inspiration, check out the Girlfriends' projects below. Don't forget to link up yourself! I can't wait to see your sunny creations!

Little Red Wagon Challenge #665 - Make It With Circles

Gosh, those calendar pages are flying right off just like in the old time cartoons!  I have a new challenge for you this week, Iʻm asking that you "Make It With Circles".  All this means is your card must have some sort of prominent circles involved.  As you can see, I made a circle card with a circle frame and sentiment and there are circles on the circular inter tube -

I hope youʻll join us this week in rounding things up and showing us your circles!  If you need a little more inspiration, be sure to check out the Girlfriends, they are going to rock this challenge!

Challenge # 664 - Stitching Sensations!

Happy Wednesday, all!  This week the challenge is "Stitching Sensations!" which means we would like to see your projects that include stitching.  Whether it's die cut, machine or hand sewing, faux, on patterned paper...as long as there's some sort of stitching, it's in!

And remember, we're not just about cards.  We'd love to see your scrapbook layout, bookmark, tag, pocket page, altered project...any papercraft goes.  In fact, for this challenge, if you wanted to link up an actual sewing make, it'll count too.

This is what I did....

My go-to for stitching is stitched dies.  As you can see, I've got two stitched squares, a stitched rectangle and a stitched tag.  And that's my stitching sensations sorted.  (:

If you would like more inspiration, check out what the Girlfriends have made.  Then head on back here and link up your project.

Can't wait to see what you create!

Challenge # 663 - time for ice cream!

Hi! Happy Wednesday!

This week I'm ( Doni)  hosting  the challenge and it is " Time for Ice Cream!"

So, we'd love to see your creations dripping with ice cream! (...see what I did there, dripping because it's so hot out!)

Anyway, here's what I made to get you started:

this view shows the dimension better...I just stacked up the shapes four deep:

...and here's what I used to make this card:
