Challenge #475 - Purrs and Wags (House Pets)

Happy Wednesday and welcome to our first challenge of December!! I've chosen the theme "Purrs and Wags" and am looking for projects with or for house pets. If you have an unusual pet, no problem! If you're hoping for a hippopotamus for Christmas, then that works too! Of course, the typical cats and dogs are welcome as well.

I decided to go with a little pup on my card and went with a Christmas theme simply because 'tis the season.

Please join the fun this week by linking below. I look forward to seeing what you've created!

Featured Leftovers

Thanks to everyone for joining us last week.  I loved reading about your leftovers and seeing how you used them.  It was so great that several entries were something other than cards.  I stopped my self at 4 featured projects though I could have easily chosen 6.  Here they are in no particular order -

Please feel free to grab your "featured" button on the sidebar.  Stay tuned for the next challenge, it's going to be a fun one!

Leftovers # 474

It's Brenda here with another Little Red Wagon Challenge.  I thought since last week was Thanksgiving here in the US using our crafty "leftovers" might be a fun challenge.  I challenged myself to use things that were on my craft table.  I think if you use paper scraps from your stash, or an image you have previously stamped or printed or colored, it's a pretty open field, just let me know why you think it works for the challenge.

I have recently finished a couple of new releases.  As a result, my table is full of stamped images that are feeling very left out.  These guys were already paper pieced so here's how I put them to use -

I am looking forward to seeing your creations.  Remember we love looking at scrapbook pages, book markers, journal create it, I would love to see it.  We want your leftovers in any form!  Be sure to check out what the Girlfriends have made for our inspiration.

Hope you'll have time to join us!

Challenge # 473 - No Cards Allowed!

Happy Wednesday, all.  This week we're saying "NO, Cards, you are not welcome here!"  (But just this week.  (: )  We want to give all those other papercrafts a week to shine.  So, let's see those scrapbook, pocket and journal pages, those bookmarks, those tags, those altered projects and whatever else you'd like to make.  And, actually, I'm not going to limit it to papercrafts.  This week we'd also love to see anything you're working on.  Made a quilt or other sewing project?  Link it up.  Fancy-decorated a cake or some cookies?  We want to see.  Took a piece of furniture from drab to fab?  Yes, please.  If you made it/altered it/created it, it's in!

This is what I did....

I made a Christmas tree banner.  I really enjoyed making it too.  (:

If you'd like more inspiration be sure to check out the wonderful projects the Girlfriends have created. Then, head back here and link up.

Can't wait to see what you create!

Featured #472 ~ Remember When

Thanks to everyone who joined the challenge this week.  I visited all of your blogs and left some love.  But for my featured project I have one very special entry that caught both my eye and attention.  That's because she has a word for my challenge from last week NBUS ~ stands for NEVER-BEFORE-USED-SCHTUFF.   Thanks Darnell for this amazing word and entry.  Grab your featured badge from our sidebar.

Please come back tomorrow for a brand new challenge.

Challenge #472 ~ Remember When

Good morning.  Our theme for this week is REMEMBER  WHEN and that just means remember when you bought something for your crafting and never used it.  Basically just to use something from you "Little Red Wagon" or your stash.

I seem to be able to collect stamp sets but never use them.  Here's my card:

So, check below in Mr. Linky for some more inspiration from the other girlfriends and link up a project that you have used something you bought a while ago.  Looking forward to seeing your makes.

Hugs, Heather
