Challenge # 252 - Girl Power

Hello everyone it's Tracy here ready to welcome you to this weeks challenge.

Our theme for this week is GIRL POWER!

I am really excited to see how everyone is going to interpret this challenge. There are endless ways to show off a bit of girl power on your projects. What will it be? Pink, frills, bling, flowers, distress, classy......oh so many ways you could go. Just create a new project that is for a girl, featuring a girl or about a girl! Got the idea! Now start creating!!!

The GIRL POWER for my card is all about the SMART Girl.

I used a digital image from Tiddly Inks called School Girl.

Alright now it's your turn to show us your GIRL POWER! Link up your projects below. Remember to stop over to each of the GIRLFRIENDS blogs and check out their projects for this week. Leave a bit of love too, we always like to hear from you.

Stop back on Tuesday next week to see our GIRL POWER features!

Happy creating everyone!

Challenge #251 - Confetti

Hi there, Jayne here with this weeks challenge and to be honest, I couldn't really think of a witty title so straight to the point it is!

Confetti!

I'd like to see you use whatever you like......bling, paper, sequins etc. to create the look.

For my sample, I'll be the first to admit it's not all that 'confetti' like!

You know when you have an idea in mind, then start to create and it sort of takes a life of it's own?

This was one of those.

I got a little carried away with the pearls and Liquid Pearls which started to remind me of the topping on a cake, so I went with a sprinkles/confetti kinda look instead!

Why not join in with this weeks challenge, cause I'm sure you'll probably have a little more success!

Just link up below and we'll be sure to stop by.  Don't forget to check out some inspiration from the rest of the Girlfriends too.

Have fun,
Jayne.x.

Challenge # 249 - Embossing

Happy Wednesday, everyone! (When you all type the word "Wednesday" do you say it as "Wed-nes-day" in your head or is that just me?) This week the challenge is a super easy one - embossing! Wet or dry, either one is acceptable.

This is what I did......

I used an embossing folder and made it basically the star of the show.

If you'd like more inspiration be sure to check out the wonderful projects the Girlfriends have created. Then, head back here and add your project to Mister Linky.

Can't wait to see what you create!
