Challenge # 554 - Animal Antics!

Happy Wednesday, all.  This week the challenge is "Animal Antics" which means that we would like to see projects that include an animal! And remember, we're not just about cards....you could make a bookmark, layout, altered item, tag - any papercraft goes!

This is what I did.....

As you can see, I've got a pup on there, and he's even anticking a little!  (Your animals don't have to be doing anything, just having an animal on your creation makes it eligible.)

If you want more inspiration be sure to check out what the Girlfriends have made. Then head on back here and link up your project.

Can't wait to see what you create!

Challenge #551 - Line It Up!

Happy Wednesday! We're all set for this week's challenge and I've chosen the theme "Line It Up!". Basically, I'm just looking for lines! You can have one line or many lines - as long as you include a line somewhere on your project.

I have a few lines on my project. I have the black lines on the left border and the lines emphasizing the word "HUGE". And really, when I think about things, there are lines in other aspects of my card.

Please check out the rest of the Girlfriends' projects which are linked below - and then link up your own lines! I can't wait to see your creations!

Little Red Wagon Standouts for Challenge #555

OK, first, I'm sorry I'm late.  All the days really seem to blend together with all this weirdness going on and our holiday on Monday totally makes today seem like Tuesday to me.  Enough with the excuses.

We didn't have a lot of entries this week, but the ones we had knocked my recycled socks off!  Here are just a few that stood out for me.

Amazing use of paper scraps.

Can you believe the background was rescued from the trash bin?

Check out the use of that barcode!

A time worn beauty for sure!

Can you believe that background is packaging?

Great job ladies!  Please feel free to grab your featured badge from the sidebar.

I also want to mention that I have noticed a number of you regularly join us in the fun here at Little Red Wagon.  Thanks so much for your continued participation, you make this so much fun for me and the other Girlfriend!

Challenge #550 - Reuse/Recycle

It's Wednesday again and gosh, we are more than half way through the month of May. All that means it's time for a new Little Red Wagon challenge. This week I (Brenda) am your hostess and I'm looking for any craft/creative project that reuses or recycles something. Recycled things you might use that come to mind would be string, ribbon, junk mail, candy boxes, folders, cans, file cabinets...I could go on and on.

As for me, we had these ugly, banged up but very solid file cabinets and a need for some new bedside tables. Thanks to Pinterest and a bit of work from my husband and I we now have very functional bedside tables (that will hold tons of cardstock!).  It was kinda hard to get a good picture, but I think you can see I did an "industrialized" paint job and we recycled some cedar from our local reuse lumbar yard.

I can't wait to see what you save from the landfill.  If you want more inspiration be sure to check out what the Girlfriends have made. Then head on back here and link up your project.

Challenge #548 - Flowers

Hi!
This week challenge is #548 at Little Red Wagon.
Doni here and I'm the hostess this week and I'd love to see Flowers,
it can be just one or many....just as long as they bloom!
I made this card for my sister-in-law. Her favorite color is blue.
I used the Stitched Flowers dies from My Favorite Things.
All the flower pieces and leaves were die cut from white cardstock
and then colored with distress inks.
The sentiment was made from a stamp set
called Birthday Messages by Simon Says Stamp
and
the number is from a stamp set by Heidi Swapp and colored blue with copic markers.

I hope you can find time to give our challenge a try this week

Featured Projects - Challenge # 547

Thanks to everyone who played along with us last week. We were pleased that so many took part in the challenge. AND you all did a great job leaving most of your card blank !  It's hard to limit my top picks to three, but here they are:

Great way just to use a die cut in front on a blank black cardstock

13. Malina

I like the pink cardbase !

I like the use of the embossing folder. It gives the "white space" a lot of dimension !

Congratulations, Ladies ! Feel free to grab the badge from our sidebar and post it proudly on your blog!

Challenge # 547 - White (or any color) Space

Hi there, it´s Wednesday and time for a brand new Challenge at Little Red Wagon. It's me, Imke - I am your hostess this week and I hope you like my Challenge for you this week:

" White/Any other Color Space "

I want to see a lot of white or any other color space on your project. As you can see i chose "Kraft" as my "White".

The frame in the same color adds a little dimension to the card. I have added an already colored reindeer from my left-over box and a quick Christmas card is ready. The German saying means: "Magical Christmas Time"

Now it's your turn, please link up your project below ! I'm looking forward to seeing your projects  and visiting you on your blogs.

Also don´t forget to visit my team mates and looking at their wonderful creations.

Challenge #546 - April Showers

Happy Wednesday! I do hope you're all safe and well. As I write this post, it's snowing here in Central Ontario (Canada) - even though everybody is ready for spring!! The theme for this week's challenge is April Showers and we'd love to see anything to do with April (spring!) - from rain to puddles to flowers to baby animals and anything else you can think of!

I created a little spring scene with a rainy background. The hedgehogs are stamps from My Favourite Things and the sentiment, raindrops and umbrella are from Clearly Besotted.

We'd love to have you join us this week! Please get those creative juices flowing and link up your April/spring project below. We can't wait to see what you make!

Stay safe and stay home as much as you possibly can!

Notables from Challenge #555 - Maaama!

Thanks to everyone who joined in on our challenge last week.  I LOVED looking at all the beautiful cards that were shared.  Here are three that really caught my eye -

I love these colors and those splatters just melt my shabby heart.

Again, the colors caught my eyes but the wonderful mix of patterns is what really took this over the top for me.

I love the elegant simplicity of this card.

Wonderful creations ladies!

We have Wednesday here again which means we have a new Little Red Wagon challenge for you.  I do hope you all are staying safe and well.  Maybe you can join us this week to add a little variety to your life.  I'm the hostess this week and I have chosen the theme Maaama! Here's what happened for me -

The Girlfriends have some wonderful inspiration for you this week.  Be sure to stop by there blogs for an extra close peek.  Can't wait to see what you do.
