Challenge# 857 - Featured Projects

Hi there! There weren't very many participants this week. It looks like you guys aren't making many baby cards either.

That made me all the more delighted to look through the entries that were submitted. As always, everything was lovely—but even from this small selection, I have chosen my Top 3.

Challenge # 857 - N is for Newborn

Hello and welcome back to a brand new Challenge ! It´s me, Imke and I continue with the A, B, C theme and this week it´s :

"N is for Newborn"

I very rarely make baby cards, which is why I chose this theme. I used Heather's card as a template; she joined us with it in another challenge here. Thanks for that!

I'm very curious to see your projects.

Don´t forget, you can link to anything that fits the topic - not just cards. Link your project below using the Linkytool. And take a look at the works of my girlfriends. They are linked with a "DT" in the name.

Happy last Wednesday in April! I can hardly believe it! I'm continuing to be inspired by Billy Joel hits this year and have chosen New York State of Mind for this week's challenge. I'm looking for anything related to travel, skylines, urban scenes, etc.

If you need more inspiration, please check out the projects below. The fabulous LRW design team have marked theirs with a DT.

Challenge #855 Top Picks

Thanks to all who joined us this week.  Thank you not just for sharing your beautiful inspiration, but for helping care for our amazing planet.  The more I see of it, the more awestruck I am by how incredibly beautiful it is.   I was inspired by not only the beautiful cards, but by the recycled objects you used.  Such great ideas.  Here are a few that really stood out for me -

Jolanda used packing material (the background paper), a business envelope (the 3 panels colored with inks) and the yarn.

Julene used branding strips from scrapbook paper.

LeAnne used an envelope she received in the mail.

Please feel free to grab the "Featured" badge from the sidebar for your blog.  And please join us for our new challenge which will be unveiled very soon!

Challenge #855 - Happy Earth Day

Welcome to a new Little Red Wagon Challenge!  This week I am asking you to help us celebrate Earth Day by recycling or reusing something create your paper craft project.  You may have a snippet of ribbon or twine, or a piece of corrugated cardboard for example.  I've seen some great homemade "washi" tape made using old books or junk mail.  Use your imagination, just be sure to let me know what you have reused/recycled.

Here is what I made from recycled clothing tags and papers from my scrap bin -

Come along and join us by linking below. Be sure to check out the Girlfriend's makes for inspiration. We would love to see you play along.
