Challenge # 682 - Glitz, Glitter, Gleam, Glow!

Happy Wednesday, all.  This week the challenge is "Glitz, Glitter, Gleam & Glow!" which mean we want to see those projects that have glitter or bling or foil or include a lamp, candle, moon, sun, stars etc.  Lots of options!  

And remember, we're not just about cards!  We'd love to see your scrapbook layout, tag, bookmark, pocket page, altered item, mixed media make, journal page....any papercraft goes!

This is what I did.....

As you can see, I have patterned paper with foiling, sparkly hearts and a glittered ampersand.  It's that easy!

Challenge #681 - Let's eat!

Hi! Happy Wednesday!

 Doni, here and it's my turn to host this weeks challenge. Since I seem to always be hungry lately ...I chose the the title "Let's eat!",  that just means you can use any type of food, cakes, cookies, pies, etc.  So when making your project just put something eatable in there somewhere and you're good to go! 

Here's the card I made:

I used the computer for the sentiment.

The rest was made with My Favorite Things Die-Namics  called Sweetie Pie.

Totally clean and simple, but hey, what can I tell ya...that's me!

CHALLENGE #680 - FLOWER POWER

 Hello everyone,

Chrissy here with you today as your hostess and with a new fun challenge and no snow in sight..

FLOWER POWER.. I need to see flowers of any kind, stamped, die cut, handmade whatever you like and not only cards, anything, journal pages, canvases, just go for it.

This is my project..

Every single thing on this card is out of my scrap dishes, you know those little dishes you put your

 " Bits " in.

So, there you go, bring on your flowers and have a lot of fun..

***New Girlfriend Alert!***

We have a new Girlfriend joining us!  The DT would like to welcome Shani, from Paperesse, to the team.  Shani has been a long time participant in our challenges and has often been one of the Featured entries.  We are so happy she is joining us!

Little Red Wagon was started back in 2009 by a group of crafters exclusively from Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.  Since then the DT slowly expanded to include other crafters from Ontario and then from other places of the world.  While Ontario is still represented by the current DT (JanR & Kate), we currently have Girlfriends from Hawaii & Ohio, USA (Brenda & Doni), Germany (Imke), Te Ika-a-Māui / North Island, New Zealand (Chrissy), and France (Shani).

Challenge #678 - Yesterday

Happy Wednesday! Even though it's today, our theme this week is "Yesterday", another Beatles-inspired challenge. I'm looking for vintage creations or vintage elements.

This week, I opted to make a home decor piece for Christmas. I started with some extra lumber that my son used while fixing our fence following a derecho earlier this year. I sawed it down to 5x5, painted it, added an image (which I printed in reverse), beat up with wood with a hammer and fork, and finally added jute, twine and a little bell (to which I added grey to remove the shiny newness).
