Challenge # 772 - Sympathy

 Hello and welcome back to a brand new challenge. It's me, Imke and I have this theme for you this week:

"Sympathy"

Dying is part of life. Unfortunately the older I get, the more often I need a condolence card. I think a bit of color is always good - but still stylish and appropriate for the occasion. Translated, the saying means: Mourning is loving remembering.

I'm excited to see what you make of it. Sympathy cards are different in every country.

Challenge #771 - Featured project

It seems that last week's Rocket (space or sky) challenge was not a hit. However, Arlene from Sundaystamper Papercrafts made this fabulous card using alcohol inks for the background. Doesn't it look "out of this world"?

I'm back with another Def Leppard-inspired challenge. This time, I've chosen the song "Rocket" and I'm looking for anything with space (or even the sky). 

I made a little gift bag with a cute character rocketing through space.

#770 - Put It in Neutral

It's past time for a new challenge at Little Red Wagon.  This week, it's me, Brenda, asking to see your projects created with primarily neutral colors.  Neutral colors are considered to be "muted shades that appear to lack color".  Examples of neutrals are beige, taupe, gray, cream, brown, black and white.  A little color is good since neutrals complement primary and secondary colors.  As you can see, I've gone with gray, which right now is my favorite neutral.

The sentiment on this card seems very fitting today.  My apologies for being late  I'm going to blame it on all the sawdust I've been inhaling lately...actually I just got distracted and forgot.

Challenge # 769 - Sparkle & Shine!

Happy Wednesday, all!  This week the challenge is "Sparkle & Shine!" which means we want to see those creations that have glitter or Stickles or gems or mirror paper or foiling or an image of a sun or stars or....well anything that sparkles or shines! 

And remember, we're not just about cards.  We'd love to see your scrapbook layout, bookmark, tag, journal, pocket page, altered item - any papercraft goes!

This is what I did....

I've got a good amount of Stickles on there, along with sparkly enamel dots, for sparkle and shine.
