You can make layers with lots of things. With paper, with die cuts and whatever else you can think of. I chose paper and made my card with it. But remember, it can't just be cards. You can link anything that fits the theme.

It's Kate here with my latest Def Leppard-inspired challenge. This time, it's Women. I'm looking for anything feminine. How you interpret this is up to you. Just grab some paper and other crafting supplies and put together a card, a tag, a bookmark, a scrapbook page or anything else you'd like!
I created a card and, as the recipient prefers snowflakes over flowers, I created a soft and feminine happy birthday card for her.

Since i don´t have any cars or airplanes, i decided to use an unusual means of transport. I like hot air balloons and every now and then i see one in the sky over out city. You see, we are being generous with our interpretation.

“One Layers ”
I am a friend of CAS cards and also of One Layer cards. It doesn't always take a lot to make a beautiful card and you can do it with less effort. I made two cards with one stamp set (you can see the second on my blog). The same style but different motifs. This is possible if the card is not very ornate designed.
Oh!! I had SO much fun going around to see all the entries to last week's "Let's Get Rocked" challenge! For the most part, I knew and loved all the songs so had them going through my head as I checked things out. I was also introduced to a new song too! I enjoyed each and every project and am showcasing just three of the fabulous creations that were entered.

It's Kate here with another Def Leppard-inspired challenge for you. This time, it's "Let's Get Rocked" - be inspired by the rock song of your choice! Please be sure to let us know the rock song you've chosen and how you've been inspired by it.
I've chosen the song "Pink" by Aerosmith and combined a variety of pink patterned papers (from the same pack) to create a pink background for this baby girl card.
Check out the Girlfriends' (DT) projects below and see how they've been inspired by different rock songs. Then let a song of your choice inspire your creation, whether it be a card, bookmark, decor, scrapbook page, etc. I can't wait to see what you make!
