Challenge # 685 - Featured Project

Hi there ! Not many participants last week but a huge  thanks to Niki, Cheryl and Julene for taking part. Since there were only a few participants, I only chose one winner even if you are all winners !

And this is Niki with her Tilda card. It's been a long time since I've seen Tilda on a card and I really liked it along with the gate fold and the wintry scene.

Niki, feel free to grab our badge to post proudly on your own blog.

As announced, we're taking a challenge break this week and we're back in the new year on January 4th, 2023 with a brand new challenge! We hope you are there. Have a good start into the new year. I hope it brings us better things than pandemics, wars, natural disasters - we've had enough of that !

Challege #685 - Angels

It´s Wednesday and time for a brand new Challenge. Are you all already in the Christmas stress ? I hope not too much. If so, sit down at your crafting table, relax and join our last challenge for this year !

I'll announce the winners next week, but there's no challenge next week. We're taking a little break and then we'll be back on 1/4/2023 with a brand new challenge.

I hope you like my theme for you this week - super matching for Christmas:

"Angel"

I chose an angel die cut. Usually he blows a heart but this time the Christmas greetings. I kept it simple as I was short of cards and needed more quickly. Another version is on my blog. The German saying "Frohes Fest" means "Merry Christmas".

Come on and join us!  Check out the lovely creations from the other “Girlfriends” and link up your own project.

All us Girlfriends would like to wish you Happy Holidays!  This is our last challenge for 2022.  Featured makes will be posted next Tuesday, but the next challenge won't be until January 4th.  We hope you all have a wonderful holiday season and we'll see you in 2023!

Challenge #684 - Featured Projects

Thanks to all who joined in our "You Won't See Me" (use vellum or transparency) challenge last week. It was so much fun to be inspired by the wonderful creations. I certainly need to pull out my vellum and transparency more often!

Here are a couple of projects that especially caught my eye:

Lorraine

Debbie

Congratulations, fellow crafters! Please feel free to grab our badge to post proudly on your own blog!

Challenge #684 - You Won't See Me (transparency or vellum)

Happy Wednesday and welcome to our second-last challenge of the year. As you know, whenever my turn has come 'round, I've used Beatles' hits as my inspiration. This week, I've chosen "You Won't See Me" and the challenge is to use either vellum or transparency on your projects.

I used some vellum on my card and embossed it - so it's not particularly transparent anymore!

If you need more inspiration, be sure to check out the rest of the Girlfriends' projects below. And remember, you can create any sort of project with paper (and this week with vellum or transparency too!) - from cards to bookmarks to home decor and scrapbooks. I'm so excited to see what you make!

Challenge #638 Featured Posts

Note to self, never do a "move it" challenge in December.  This does however give me the opportunity to thank everyone who has participated in our past challenges this year.  We are so glad to have you join in our fun and to become another one of our girlfriends.  We are looking forward to 2023!

A big shout out to the DT for so many reasons, but mainly for their great "move it" projects this week.  Hereʻs another little peek -

Stay tuned for a new challenge!

Challenge #683 - Make It Move

From wobblers to shakers and pop-ups to flip outs, I love them all.  I guess there might be a tiny bit of an engineer or architect in me.  That being said, I would love to see your projects that move this week.  I chose to go with a penny spinner card for my project -

have to admit, it doesnʻt spin as smoothly as I would like (you can see that and my total lack of video editing skills on my blog here) but it does move and thatʻs what Iʻm looking for.

I sure hope youʻll join us this week.  If you need a Ilittle inspiration, stop in and see what the Girlfriends have to offer, they never disappoint.

Aloha,

Brenda
