Hello friends! Welcome to a new challenge here at Little Red Wagon. This week, it is my first time as a Girlfriend to have the pleasure of choosing the challenge and I selected the theme "Fit It In!" - use an inlaid die cut on your project. You are free to use any sort of die that you'd like, but you then need to cut another of the same shape to puzzle piece into the negative space. I hope that makes sense! Perhaps it will after you see my project below.
I used two different sized fishtail dies to create my card. Using black cardstock, I used both the large and the small dies, with the smaller die nested inside the larger one. I then put aside the small piece and kept the large black frame. I then used the small die again, but this time cut out a piece of watercolour paper. Once I had stamped the watercolour paper, I fit it into the black frame so the two die cuts lie flat together. I then adhered things on my cardbase and popped on a little sentiment.
We can't wait to see your inlaid die cut creations and I will be visiting each of you who links up below. Next Tuesday evening, I'll be back to post my favourites! Be sure to visit the rest of the Girlfriends to see what they've created too!
