As you know by now, I love CAS cards. Quick, easy, and yet great. This penguin is ideal because there isn't much to color. Plus, the saying is perfect for so many occasions – very versatile !

Challenge # 834 - Let's Fly!

Happy Wednesday, all!  This week the challenge is "Let's Fly!" which means we would like to see anything that flies - think birds, bugs, butterflies, balloons, airplanes, rockets, kites etc etc etc.  We will also accept any that is in the sky.  Stars, clouds, sun, moon again etc etc ect.

And remember, we're not just about cards.  We'd love to see your scrapbook layout, tag, bookmark, journal page, altered item - any papercraft goes!

 It's our last challenge for October and I've got another Elton John inspired challenge. This week, I'm going with "Candle in the Wind" and I'm looking for any kind of light source. Think candles, lamps, flashlights, the sun. I'll even take the moon or a mirror, even though they actually reflect the light.

Challenge #830 - Not A Card

 Hello everyone!  Iʻm here with a new challenge.  Itʻs an easy one.  Iʻm looking forward to seeing any kind of paper craft, except a card.  That would leave tags, bookmarks, journals, art journal pages,  ATCs, and scrapbook pages to name a few things.  I went back to my roots for this challenge and created a scrapbook page using an old picture (2007) of my sonʻs hula halau -

Challenge # 829 - Captain's Log

Happy Wednesday, all!  This week the challenge is "Captain's Log" which means we want to see either wood/faux wood (using designer paper, embossing folder, sticks etc.) or an image of wood (trees, logs etc.) or some type of log (aka record - think journal or diary page, calendar etc.) or you could even focus on the "Captain" part and do something with a ship or armed forces....or if there's another way you'd like to channel the challenge theme, go right ahead!  (Just make sure you tell us in your post if it's not obvious).

And remember, we're not just about cards!  We'd love to see your scrapbook layout, tag, bookmark, altered item - any papercraft goes!

As you can see, I've got wood look patterned paper and I've used a house, which using wood in its construction.

CHALLENGE # 828 - Halloween!

 Hello everyone,

Chrissy here with you this week as your hostess with a theme not everyone likes..HALLOWEEN.

I don't celebrate Halloween here in NZ but I do like to dabble in the purples and yellows  and creepy things lurking in the corners, or fun and whimsical, so if you enjoy the fun side of Halloween ( or spooky ) come and join in this week, would love to see all you have..

This is what I made..

A simple water colouring background in purples and black, a giant moon with bats and some houses that came already spooky and I just layered them, up..

 Happy Wednesday! Kate here with another Elton John-inspired challenge. This time, the song of choice is "I'm Still Standing". I'm looking for projects of encouragement - and you can interpret that however you'd like! Get well, congratulations, I believe in you, I love you, you've got this, etc. The written sentiment doesn't even have to be there. Perhaps it's a scrapbook page celebrating a milestone or a bouquet of paper flowers to cheer up a friend.
