Challenge #581 - Merry Christmas!

It's hard to believe that we're on our final challenge of 2020. What a year it has been! I'm delighted to be hosting and I've chosen the theme "Merry Christmas!". Please link up any Christmas (or other faith/cultural celebration) creation. Although I celebrate Christmas, I know that there are lots of you who celebrate your cultures and faiths in different ways and you are welcome to join in and share in a way that honours your own traditions. All are welcome!

For my card, I used Clearly Besotted's "Nativity Play" set to create a little scene. I actually have a mouse nativity set on my shelving unit so couldn't resist purchasing this set when I saw it!

Please join our challenge by linking your Christmas (or other faith/cultural celebration) creations below! I'm looking forward to visiting your blogs to see what you've made!

Finally, in the spirit of my faith and tradition, I wish you all a Merry Christmas!

Just a note:  We are taking next week off to celebrate the season with our families.  We will be back on January 6th with our first challenge of 2021!

Challenge #580 - Hip To Be Square

It's Wednesday again which means it's time for a new Little Red Wagon challenge.  This week I am our hostess and it's not that I am feeling the need to fit in, I just want to see a square worked into your design to prove it's 'Hip to Be Square'.  This can mean you make a square card, you have a square sentiment or squares on your papers.  Even a square in your image will work.

Here's what happened for me.  After I had this card all done, I realized it probably wasn't technically a square because of the curved corners, but it does have 4 straight equal sides.  If you look past that cute little mouse, you will also see a square package (whew!) -

I can't wait to see what you do with this challenge.  I'm sure the Girlfriends will once again have beautiful projects and good stories to go along with them.  Why not drop by and leave them a little love!

Challenge # 578 - Winter Birthday!

 Hi there!

It´s Wednesday and time for a brand new Challenge at Little Red Wagon.  Doni here and I am the hostess this week.

I would like to see your cards that celebrate a WINTER BIRTHDAY.

While I was on a roll I also made this one:

For the snow I used a stencil from Simon Says Stamp and Nuvo Glimmer paste.

You can see the texture and sparkle better against the blue but it looks just as pretty on the white IRL.

The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink and the little house is a die from SSS.

Now it's your turn, please link up your project below.  Can't wait to see what you create!

Challenge # 577 - Prepared for Christmas

Hi there, it´s Wednesday and time for a brand new Challenge at Little Red Wagon. It's me, Imke - I am your hostess this week and I hope you like my Challenge for you this week:

" Prepared for Christmas"

Christmas will be very different this year because of Covid-19 but it won't be canceled, right ? That's why we all wrap nice little things or design small gift boxes, tags, place cards, etc. So, I want to see everything to do with packaging and decoration for Christmas.

I always do a little something for my colleagues at work and I have shown a prototype of my Curvy Keepsakes Box before. Now they're all done and I've tweaked them a bit. I used double tags for more dimension and also a little christmas ball. They are very cute and i hope my colleagues like them. You can find more information about these on my blog.

Now it's your turn, please link up your project below ! I'm looking forward to seeing your projects  and visiting you on your blogs.

Also don´t forget to visit my team mates and looking at their wonderful creations.

Challenge #576 - Say It Loud!

Happy Wednesday! Time is just flying by and we're reading for our newest challenge here at Little Red Wagon. This week, I would like you to all "Say It Loud!" I'm looking for BIG sentiments or word art on your projects. Even one LARGE word on a sentiment will do the trick!

I was delighted to win a $75US MFT voucher last week and spent my winnings quite promptly! One of the items I purchased was the "I really miss you" die and wasted no time using it for this week's challenge.

Please pull out your large stamped sentiments, dies or word art and join us this week to "Say It Loud"! I can't wait to see what you create!

Ladies, feel free to take you top pick banner from the side bar.  Thanks to everyone who joined us.  It makes me kinda (kinda) glad my Christmas cards are not all done so that I can use some of the wonderful color combinations you shared.  We hope to see you at our next challenge!

Challenge #575 - Non-traditional Christmas Colors

I'm not sure if this is happening to everyone, but this year, with all its challenges seems to be rolling by faster than ever.  It will be Christmas before we know it.  With that in mind, I am challenging you this week, to make a Christmas creation using non-traditional colors, so anything but red and green.

Here is what happened for me using pink and lavender -

Just a reminder that we love to see creations of all kinds.  If you need a bit of inspiration, stop in and see what the Girlfriends have created for this challenge.  I can't wait to see what colors you put together.

Challenge # 572 - Things beginning with "B"

Hi there, it´s Wednesday and time for a brand new Challenge at Little Red Wagon. It's me, Imke - I am your hostess this week and I hope you like my Challenge for you this week:

" Things beginning with B"

Here are some examples - I'm sure you can think of more:
Birds, Banner, Butterfly, Bamboo, BBQ, Bubbles, Baby.......

For me, this challenge meant learning vocabulary ! As you know, I am German and I always have to translate the words into English. I chose a Bookmark, which is called "Lesezeichen" in German. You see very different initial letters. But i did it !

Now it's your turn, please link up your project below ! I'm looking forward to seeing your projects  and visiting you on your blogs.
