Challenge #265 ~ Wishy Washi

Good Wednesday morning.  It is that time again here at Little Red Wagon for a new weekly challenge. I, Heather, am your hostess this week for your challenge entitled "WISHY WASHI". I jumped on the washi tape band wagon and bought many rolls late last year that I never got a chance to use.  This was my perfect opportunity and I like the end result.  I used my washi tape in a very traditional way by making these banners both on the outside and inside of my card.

I am looking forward to seeing all of the great ways you use your washi tape this week on a project.  I will be checking them all out and posting the top three or so that catch my eye next Tuesday.

And, don't forget about our design team call.  If you are interested all the details and how to apply are at this post HERE.

Wow! I am in complete awe of all of the fabulous layers. I had so much fun checking out the beautiful creations you shared this past week. There were so many variations of layers it was really hard to choose my features.

So, because I am way too indecisive this week, here are my features for our LAYER IT UP challenge.

Congratulation on your features this week. Please grab the featured badge from our sidebar to display on your blogs. Thank you to everyone for playing along with our challenge. Be sure to come back tomorrow to check out Heather's fun challenge.

Challenge # 264 - Layer it Up!

Hello everyone, it's Tracy here with this week's challenge.

I don't know about you, but where I am, winter is already upon us. The kids are heading to school in full snow gear and snow shovels are already getting a workout. With the chilly weather in mind, my challenge for you this week is to LAYER IT UP!

That's right crafty peeps, head to your stash and pull our your paper and lots of it. Grab your embellishments and get ready to load'em up! However you want to create your layers is up to you, but there is no CAS here this week!

For my layered card I used a sweet image from The Paper Nest Dolls called Elf Ellie. Add to that, card stock (black and red), pattern paper (Pebble Home for Christmas) and a number of fun embellishments and we are well layered!

I didn't officially count all of the layer, but there is a lot on the outside........

And more on the inside (Your Next Stamp Holiday Sentiments)!

Don't forget to check out the inspiration the that other Girlfriends are sharing. Link up your LAYER IT UP projects below and then stop back on Tuesday to check out the challenge features.

Stay warm and cozy while you craft and have a wonderful day.

Featured 50 Shades Of?

Welcome back for this weeks Featured Faves and before I get started, be warned..........this is a slightly longer post as you really made my job difficult this week!

Such a fabulous collection of entries we received - you guys are the best but at one point this post was looking more like a Featured 15!

After much deliberation, I narrowed it down to six and after a little more going back and forth I finally gave up.

Six it is.........and here they are:

Yogi

Nazeema

Julie P

Donna Mundinger

Rachelle G

Sanja Grdinic

Congratulations ladies, beautiful work and please feel free to grab and display our blinkie on your blog.

Thanks also to everyone who entered this week as it was pleasure stopping by to visit........such fabulous inspiration!

Stop by here again tomorrow as Tracy has another awesome challenge for you,

Challenge #263 - 50 Shades of ?

Hi there, Jayne here with this weeks challenge and NO........we have not altered the tone and theme of our challenges here at Little Red Wagon, as my title may suggest!  That's just my feeble attempt at a little witticism whilst presenting a challenge for 'Monochromatic' creations this week.

For anyone who's unsure of exactly what I mean, I'd like you to choose one colour for your project (neutral whites, creams, black etc. are also allowed) then create using a variety of shades in your chosen hue.

Just to be clear.......it is not mandatory to use 50 shades!

For my sample I took the clean and simple route and created a single layer card, although in reality there's cardstock, ribbon, patterned paper, foam dots, and more cardstock so I guess it's not one layer at all!

However I did make a head start on my Christmas cards so this makes me happy.

I'm also a little sad, as this will be my final challenge here at Little Red Wagon.

I've thoroughly enjoyed my time serving on the Design Team over the last couple of years, and I have been grateful for the constant source of inspiration shared by my fellow Girlfriends and those who have participated in our challenges.  However life's busy schedule means it's time for me to move on.

I hope you'll be able to join us with this weeks challenge as I look forward to 'hopping' by your blogs to share a little love.  Don't forget to link up below and I'll be back on Tuesday with my Featured Faves.

Have a great week,
Jayne.x.

Now, on with this weeks challenge....it is a fun one.  It is called 'Home is Where Your Heart Is'.  You can interpret this any way you like!!!  Sound good??

Here is what I created.  Aren't you just dying to know what a little mushroom house looks like inside???
