Challenge #551 - Line It Up!

Happy Wednesday! We're all set for this week's challenge and I've chosen the theme "Line It Up!". Basically, I'm just looking for lines! You can have one line or many lines - as long as you include a line somewhere on your project.

I have a few lines on my project. I have the black lines on the left border and the lines emphasizing the word "HUGE". And really, when I think about things, there are lines in other aspects of my card.

Please check out the rest of the Girlfriends' projects which are linked below - and then link up your own lines! I can't wait to see your creations!

Little Red Wagon Standouts for Challenge #555

OK, first, I'm sorry I'm late.  All the days really seem to blend together with all this weirdness going on and our holiday on Monday totally makes today seem like Tuesday to me.  Enough with the excuses.

We didn't have a lot of entries this week, but the ones we had knocked my recycled socks off!  Here are just a few that stood out for me.

Amazing use of paper scraps.

Can you believe the background was rescued from the trash bin?

Check out the use of that barcode!

A time worn beauty for sure!

Can you believe that background is packaging?

Great job ladies!  Please feel free to grab your featured badge from the sidebar.

I also want to mention that I have noticed a number of you regularly join us in the fun here at Little Red Wagon.  Thanks so much for your continued participation, you make this so much fun for me and the other Girlfriend!

Challenge #550 - Reuse/Recycle

It's Wednesday again and gosh, we are more than half way through the month of May. All that means it's time for a new Little Red Wagon challenge. This week I (Brenda) am your hostess and I'm looking for any craft/creative project that reuses or recycles something. Recycled things you might use that come to mind would be string, ribbon, junk mail, candy boxes, folders, cans, file cabinets...I could go on and on.

As for me, we had these ugly, banged up but very solid file cabinets and a need for some new bedside tables. Thanks to Pinterest and a bit of work from my husband and I we now have very functional bedside tables (that will hold tons of cardstock!).  It was kinda hard to get a good picture, but I think you can see I did an "industrialized" paint job and we recycled some cedar from our local reuse lumbar yard.

I can't wait to see what you save from the landfill.  If you want more inspiration be sure to check out what the Girlfriends have made. Then head on back here and link up your project.

Challenge # 549 - Shape Up!

Happy Wednesday, all.  This week the challenge is "Shape Up!" which means that we want to see those shaped projects!  So, anything that is not square or rectangle shaped.  Other geometric shapes like circles, triangles or stars etc. are perfectly acceptable. And remember, we're not just about cards....you could make a bookmark, layout, altered item, tag - any papercraft goes!

This is what I did.....

I made a bear card in a bear shape!  No squares or rectangles here!

If you want more inspiration be sure to check out what the Girlfriends have made. Then head on back here and link up your project.

Can't wait to see what you create!

Challenge #548 - Flowers

Hi!
This week challenge is #548 at Little Red Wagon.
Doni here and I'm the hostess this week and I'd love to see Flowers,
it can be just one or many....just as long as they bloom!
I made this card for my sister-in-law. Her favorite color is blue.
I used the Stitched Flowers dies from My Favorite Things.
All the flower pieces and leaves were die cut from white cardstock
and then colored with distress inks.
The sentiment was made from a stamp set
called Birthday Messages by Simon Says Stamp
and
the number is from a stamp set by Heidi Swapp and colored blue with copic markers.

I hope you can find time to give our challenge a try this week
just link up your project below!
I'm looking forward to seeing your projects and visiting you on your blogs.

Featured Projects - Challenge # 547

Thanks to everyone who played along with us last week. We were pleased that so many took part in the challenge. AND you all did a great job leaving most of your card blank !  It's hard to limit my top picks to three, but here they are:

Great way just to use a die cut in front on a blank black cardstock

13. Malina

I like the pink cardbase !

I like the use of the embossing folder. It gives the "white space" a lot of dimension !

Congratulations, Ladies ! Feel free to grab the badge from our sidebar and post it proudly on your blog!
