Challenge # 274 - Winter Blues

Welcome back to this week's Little Red Wagon challenge.

I don't know about you, but I am tired of winter. Where I live, the snow hasn't been too bad, but it has been extremely cold. My challenge for this week is called WINTER BLUES! Show me lots of winter or lots of blue or lots of winter and blue!

For my card today, I used a adorable image from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps called Cuddle Up and Keep Warm. The gorgeous paper is from Bo Bunny Altitude.

I hope that wherever you are, that you are staying warm and hopefully getting crafty. Join us this week for our WINTER BLUES challenge. If you are looking for a bit of inspiration, you must check out the fabulous creations by the super talented DT Girlfriends.

Have a wonderful and crafty day!

Challenge # 273 - Shhhhhhhhhhh!

Happy Wednesday, everybody! This week we've got something a little bit different for you.....I want you to "Shhhhhhhh!" Well, not you exactly, your project. I would like to see something without any words or letters of any kind. So, no sentiment, no text on your paper - nada!

This is what I did.....

(Watermarks do not count as part of your creation, and are completely allowed, of course.)

See, not a word or letter to be seen.......or heard.

If you'd like more inspiration be sure to check out the wonderful projects the Girlfriends have created. Then, head back here and link up.

Can't wait to see what you create!

Challenge #272 - Frosty

I don't know what it is like in your part of the world, but here in Ontario it is really frosty!  With that in mind, my challenge this week is to create a card with a snow theme!

My inspiration card started with an adorable image from Mo's Digital Pencil called Valerie in Winter.

I colored it up using my Copic makers and the snowman was frosted using a combination of fine glitter and Sparkly Fluff.

I hope you decide to join in the challenge this week.  Simply create a frosty-themed card and then link it below.  We will be sure to visit your blog and you might even be one of our Featured picks next Tuesday! For more inspiration, be sure to stop by the DT Girlfriend's blogs which are listed on the side-bar - you won't be disappointed!

Challenge #271 ~ Sparkle and Shine

Hello all and welcome to a new challenge at Little Red Wagon.

It's Heather here and I will be your hostess this week.  First off, let me welcome our two new girlfriends, Collette and Susie, to our team.  Please visit them along with all the other girlfriends to see what they have created.

My challenge for you is to "SPARKLE AND SHINE" ~ feel free to interpret this any way you like. This is the last of my "inherited" challenge choices from a previous DT member but I chose to take the theme literally and I used a number of mediums on my card that sparkle and shine ~ glitter paper, stickles, Wink of Stella clear pen, along with lots of bling ~ resulting in a card that sparkles and shines.

Can't wait to get a chance to visit all of you as you link up your projects here this week.  I want to see you "SPARKLE AND SHINE".  I will be back on Tuesday with my top picks.

Hugs, Heather
