Challenge #297 ~ Birthday Theme

Good Morning!  It's Heather here and I am the hostess for this week's challenge.  I have a super simple one for you ~ a card with a birthday theme.  We always need birthday cards in our stash so any kind of birthday card will do ~ kids, adults, funny, special ~ you get the picture.

I tried a new technique called the masking tape technique and used my mini distress inks by Tim Holtz for this easy birthday card.  I can see lots of these with different themes and colours in my future for my stash.

Check out all the inspiration from the other girlfriends and come back to link up your birthday card this week. I can't wait to visit and see what you all create.

Hugs, Heather

  1. Love your card Heather!! This is a technique I will definitely have to use!!! :)

  2. What a great technique! I just might need to give it a try too. Really cute card Heather!

  3. This is so lovely birthday theme! I love the colors. Thanks for such wonderful inspiration dear. I like DIY parties. You know my sister just hosted her DIY birthday bash at one of the best New York venues. Everything was so creative in her party. Everyone loved it.
